Friends School Haverford is located at 851 Buck Lane, Haverford, PA between the towns of Bryn Mawr and Ardmore. Buck Lane runs north-south and FSH is between Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) to the north and Haverford Road to the south. The school shares its campus with Haverford Friends Meeting.
From Center City: Take the Route 76 West (Schuylkill Expressway) toward Valley Forge. Approximately 4 miles from Center City, take the left lane exit to City Ave (Rt. 1) heading south. Travel almost 3 miles (past St. Joseph's University on the left) and look for St. Charles Seminary on the right, make a right turn onto Lancaster Ave. (Rt. 30). Travel 3.4 miles through Ardmore and past Haverford College and The Haverford School on the left. Turn left at Buck Lane and continue through the first stop sign. The entrance is on the left.
From the Airport: Take 1-95 south toward Delaware, exit onto Route 476, follow it north for 12 miles to the Route 30 St. David's Exit (No. 13); turn right onto Route 30 East. Haverford is three miles, on the south side of Route 30. Turn right onto Buck Lane and continue through the first stop sign. The entrance is on the left.
From the Pa. Turnpike: Exit the Turnpike to the Norristown Exit. Take Route 476 (the Blue Route) South, toward Chester. Get off at the Route 30 St. David's Exit (No. 13); turn right onto Route 30 East. Haverford is three miles, on the south side of Route 30. Turn right onto Buck Lane and continue through the first stop sign. The entrance is on the left.
From West Chester: Follow Route 3 (West Chester Pike) to Route 476 North. Follow 476 North for 12 miles to the Route 30 St. David's Exit (No. 13); turn right onto Route 30 East. Haverford is three miles, on the south side of Route 30. Turn right onto Buck Lane and continue through the first stop sign. The entrance is on the left.
By Public Transportation:
SEPTA Regional Transit Train: The Haverford Station is on the R5 Line, a ten-minute walk from school. The R5 originates in Downingtown and ends in Doylestown, transiting through Suburban Station in Center City.
Norristown High-Speed Line (Route 100): This trolley runs from 69th Street Station to Norristown. There is a stopHaverford Station, Route 1000.5 miles from campus.
