The Prekindergarten experience nurtures social and emotional growth and supports the development of motor skills and pre-academic tasks. Our purposefully inclusive social atmosphere, where there is an appreciation of “that of God in everyone,” provides a firm foundation for Prekindergartners to grow and take risks while feeling safe and valued. The classroom and outdoor spaces serve as the backdrop for experiential learning, which organically builds on the young child’s natural curiosity about the world. Language arts, math, science, and social studies become integrated as the class meaningfully explores the themes of self, family, friendship, place, and stewardship.
