Summer Reading Lists 2008
We feel that it is vital that our students continue to read and be read to over the summer months. Please consider your local public library's summer reading club, and use your public library's children's librarian as a resource to help you find books your child will enjoy. In these pages, you will find tips and lists of suggestions.
If your student is entering kindergarten: Please look at Caldecott Medal Winners and Kindergarten Shared Reading. You may also find the Guided Reading list helpful.
If your student is entering grade 1: Please look at Caldecott Medal Winners, and First Grade Shared Reading. You may also find the Guided Reading list helpful.
If your student is entering grade 2: Please look at Tips, Caldecott Medal Winners, Second Grade Shared Reading, and Guided Reading.
If your student is entering grade 3: Please look at Tips, Caldecott Medal Winners, Newbery Medal Winners, Third Grade Shared Reading, and Guided Reading.
