Tr. Dee guided students in 3/4 and middle school in the growing of Hippeastrum "Dancing Queen" flowers from bulbs for this year's Flower Show. Today they took the train to Philadelphia to exhibit their Amaryllis. Many students received 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or honorable mention ribbons in the youth novice competition. After the judging, everyone enjoyed touring the show before it opened to the public and seeing the beautiful displays. Afterward, they headed to The Reading Terminal Market for something to eat. Tr. Dee and her siblings entered their "Moose Lodge" and won 1st place for their exhibit in the Class 134 Interiorscape category. Congratulations to all of our horticulturists!
