Lauren Berman
Lead Teacher, Kindergarten/ First Grade
Lauren Berman has six years of experience, and she has been teaching at Friends School Haverford for four years. She holds a bachelor's in psychology, a PreK–4 Education Certification, and a master's in PreK–8 Special Education.
"As an educator, I believe in a progressive teaching approach in which children are the center of learning and construct knowledge through hands-on experiences, play, and discovery. I aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where students feel supported and challenged.
"Friends School Haverford is a special place. I love the sense of community you feel instantly on campus. There is a strong bond between students, parents, and faculty, and a shared love of learning that is undeniable and strong."
