Julie Bowman

Lead Teacher, Pre-Kindergarten

Teacher Julie has 21 years of experience and she has been teaching at Friends School Haverford since 2017. She has a bachelor's from the University of Minnesota, and a master's in curriculum and instruction from Rosemont College.

"Education is a lifelong endeavor of growth through wonder, curiosity, exploration, discovery, and life experiences. Through creative play, young children learn by exploring their environment where they gain the benefits of happiness, meaning, imagination, relationships, and a sense of calm and wellness that stays with them throughout their life journey.
