Parent-School Partnership
All parents are welcome as full participants in Friends School Haverford learning community and are automatically members of the Parent Teacher Organization because children learn best when all the adults are involved in their education. The faculty and staff partner with parents to provide each child with the best possible growing and learning experience.
Understanding the Friends School Haverford philosophy and academic curriculum is central to building the partnership between home and school. Please keep yourself informed by reviewing the school’s curriculum and other publications, attending PTO events and other meetings throughout the year, reading the school’s website and e-mails, discussing questions and concerns with your child’s teacher, and generally communicating with us about your child’s joys, successes, concerns, and needs.
