Friends School Haverford offers an exceptional early childhood education rooted in Quaker values and joyful discovery. Below you’ll find tuition rates for the 2026-2027 school year, along with details about our schedules and the schedule.
Tuition for 2026-2027
This year, the tuition structure has changed to a flat tuition for all ages and grade levels.
- The tuition for all grades, from age 1 through kindergarten, will be $21,012.
- Current nursery students who are repeating nursery will be grandfathered in at a 4% increase from the current tuition rate of $19,390.80.
- Extended Day is $4,326, and Early Birds will remain free of cost.
- Camp tuition for Summer 2026, for the full 9 weeks, will be $4,140, or $460 per week.
- Camp sessions for Nursery children will be offered in two-week increments.
Tuition Schedule Options and School Day Times
In the upcoming school year, we have simplified and adapted the choices for part-time schedules. Prekindergarten, kindergarten, and the one year old class will be full-time.
Nursery and preschool will have two additional schedule options. In addition to full-time, nursery and preschool can choose 5 half-day and 3 full-day spaces.
The School day for everyone will be 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Early Bird care will begin at 7:30 am and Extended Day will close at 6 pm.

Discounts and Financial Aid
Friends School Haverford will continue to offer a 10% sibling discount off tuition for one sibling.
We will continue to offer limited financial aid to families who have submitted a Financial Aid Application via Clarity. All full-time students in all grades are eligible for Financial Aid.
Late Fees
- 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. → $25
- After 6:30 p.m. → $50 per additional 30 minutes All fees are billed to the student’s account.
Tuition Payment Plan Options Available:
All tuition payments are managed through the FACTS Payment Plan System
Families may choose from the following options:
- 1. One Payment – Full tuition due in July.
- 2. Two Payments – 60% due in July and 40% due on January 15.
- 3. Ten Payments – Total tuition spread over 10 equal payments from July through April.
Tuition Refund Plan (optional)
If your child must withdraw before the end of the school year, FSH offers an optional tuition refund plan through A.W.G. Dewar, Inc.
- The cost is 2.4% of total tuition.
