Friends School Haverford seeks individuals to work daily in our after-school program this fall. The hours are from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Applicants should have some previous experience working in childcare, preferably. Current college/grad students studying education should strongly consider applying. This position is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in early childhood education. Being available five days a week is preferred.

Children range from age 2 to 11.

STAFF DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Arriving on time at 2:30 p.m.
• Taking attendance
• Maintaining social distance protocols and cleaning/disinfecting areas when needed.
• Some children require assistance with the bathroom use.
• Creating a positive play environment for the students in your after school group
• Serving snacks (provided by the students' parents)
• Planning and Leading daily games, classroom activities, or art projects
• Maintaining clean classroom/playground areas.
• Basic first aid
