Lead Teacher-Summer Camp-Seedlings Program

The Summer Camp at Friends School Haverford is looking to hire two Lead Teachers this summer for our Seedlings Programs. Each of the two teachers will have their own classroom capped at 14 campers and supported by a full-time counselor dedicated to that classroom. The program runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with before care extending the day for some campers and staff from 8:30 am to 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Lead teachers would not be responsible for before or after care. The summer season begins on June 10 and runs until August 23. The entire camp is closed the week of July 4th.

The program is play-based, and we will be outside as often as possible on our amazing outdoor playgrounds. We seek individuals with experience in and a passion for working with children. We seek experienced teachers to plan and implement activities in a nurturing and creative environment.
