Parents are responsible for bringing the medication to camp if their child has any special needs. Please read the Emergency Form carefully for additional medication and field trip policy information.

Children should wear cool, comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes to camp and be prepared for outdoor and indoor activities. All campers must wear sneakers and socks. Please do not send your child to camp in sandals. Campers will not need to bring toys to camp. While it is appropriate for our Seedlings campers to bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal to help them relax during quiet time, all other toys and electronic devices are prohibited from being brought to camp.

PAYMENT, FEES & REGISTRATION
Payment for camp is charged on a weekly basis, according to the program you choose, as set out above and below. Payment for After Care Camp is charged as a one-time payment of $50.00 for enrollment. There is currently no payment for drop off period prior to the start of the camp day, between 8:30 and 9 am.
Late pick up fees are charged at a rate of $15 per 15-minute period. The late pick-up fee begins to accrue at the time specified for the end of the camp day based on the original enrollment (i.e., after 3 pm for full day, after 1 pm for partial day, and after 5 pm if registered for after care).
A change of week fee of $25 is charged per week changed, and weeks of camp may only be changed if there is availability during the desired week. A change of registration from one week to another will be approved by the school solely in the school’s discretion, taking into account such factors as availability of space and staffing.
Full payment of the total amount due is required at the time of registration before a camper is permitted to attend. Camp registration is due by May 1, 2025.
Late registration is possible, provided space is available in the desired program. Late registration must be made at least one week before the start of the desired program and must be accompanied by full payment.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
The payment of tuition for camp and of the fees noted above is a requirement for your child’s enrollment in our program. The tuition and fees charges are determined after careful consideration by Friends School Haverford. Our summer camp program substantially relies on these tuition and fees payments to operate the program. All payments of tuition and fees are non-refundable.
Summer Camp at Friends School Haverford reserves the right to cancel or modify individual programs due to enrollment or weather concerns, and you agree that the duties and obligations of the school under this Agreement may be suspended immediately without notice because of force majeure events, including, but not limited to, fire, acts of God, war, governmental action, measures of any governmental authority, terrorism, epidemic, disease, pandemic, natural disaster, or any other event that would negatively affect the safe operations of the camp that are beyond the control of school. If such a force majeure event occurs, the duties and obligations of the school may be suspended or postponed until such time as the school, in its sole, reasonable discretion, may safely reopen the camp.
Friends School Haverford may terminate a children’s continued attendance at camp at any time in its sole discretion for reasons that include, but are not limited to: (1) a violation of rules, regulations, requirements or policies; (2) violent, threatening, intimidating or otherwise unlawful behavior; or (3) insubordination to school authorities. Such conduct can be on the part of a parent/guardian or of a camper, and may occur anywhere including on the campus, at camp events or programs, via an electronic or digital platform, or in any other place or circumstance that is connected with, related to, or reflects upon the camp.
Additionally, Friends School Haverford may, in its sole discretion, determine that a student does not meet the camp’s conduct requirements, or that a student has behavioral, health or emotional needs that Friends School Haverford is not prepared to meet. In such cases, Friends School Haverford may terminate a child’s attendance.

TOILETING POLICY
Children age three and toilet trained through those entering 6th grade in the fall are eligible to attend Summer Camp at Friends School Haverford. Due to the number of transitions throughout the camp day, we require Seedlings campers to manage themselves independently when using the toilet. Regular breaks and lots of encouragement will assist in this process. While we understand accidents can and will occur occasionally, we do not have the staffing to manage more regular accidents with campers while maintaining our program's integrity. If the occasional accident becomes a regular pattern of behavior, we reserve the right to dismiss campers at our discretion.
